has been working as a Independent Producer of theatrical productions for
over 15 years. She has worked in the capacity of Producer or Associate Producer
of theatrical productions for independent production companies, including
the live stage and DVD productions of "Love Ain't Suppose to Hurt", Otis
Sallid's "Gospel Gospel, Gospel", "Spiritual", & "Big Otis Jump Up Blues
Revue", Soar Productions "A Taste of Life", Candace Cole Productions of
"Carnegie Hall is In My View", "No More Drama", NAACP award winning "Busline
210" & The Anointing, The Washington D.C. debut of "Inkle & Yarico", MASS
Productions Los Angeles and Touring Company productions of "What In Hell
Do You Want" and "Tell Hell I Ain't Comin'", Roy Fegan's "Treat Her Like
a Lady", and C-Jams Productions "Oh Mama". She has worked with award winning
Writers, Directors, Musical Directors, Choreographers and creators such
as Otis Sallid, Bill Duke, Candace Cole, Ruth Carter, Donald Welch, as well
as produced and performed with such notables |

as BeBe Winans, Marla Gibbs,
Dawnn Lewis, Dorian Wilson, TC Carson, BJ Crosby, Art Evans, and Pauletta
Washington just to name a few.Contrella's independent administrative consulting
expertise has been utilized in many aspects of business within and outside
of the entertainment industry.Administrator for Haynes
Entertainment Group, headed by award winning writer/entrepreneur Tony Haynes,
and Assistant A&R Administrator for Motown Records. Her professional experience
in the arts began in 1986 in the music industry where she began working
as a Product Coordinator for the original "Motown" Records. She was quickly
promoted to Assistant A&R Administrator where her expertise was utilized
in the area of mechanical licensing and project coordinating. She has worked
as an independent consultant to Attorneys with entertainment specialties,
and has provided administrative consulting in various areas of business.

Contrella is a native of Los Angeles, and discovered her interest in the
arts during her early education, and continued to pursue her training during
college at the University of California at Irvine where she received her
B.A. Degree.She later traveled with the Praise Repertory Company where
she served as Co-Founder/Company Manager, as well as a featured performer,
and it was with the repertory company that she discovered her affinity for
the Producer/Administrative aspects of the arts. She has continued actively
producing, writing, and performing in live Theater and music since then,
and she aspires to add more television and film experience to her credit.
Passion for the arts is second only to her passion and her love for God,
her son Joshua LaMar, and her commitment to her local church, The Word Center
Church of Los Angeles where she serves as Musical Director. She gives praise
to god for her mom. Gwen Patrick, who instilled stregnth and good moral
values in her life early, and has continued her support even to this day.
She knows that she has been blessed of the Lord "and highly favored", and
she gives all glory to her Heavenly Father for all of His abundant favor. |
